Your personal resume is an important part of your job search. Many airlines --including major, national, turbojet and regional airlines-- screen resumes before sending out employment applications. A few airlines even schedule interviews based on the resume alone.

Most airlines use a scoring system when evaluating resumes and applications. In order to receive a high score you must understand how the scoring system works. The first rule is that pilot recruiters average only 20 to 45 seconds to scan your resume. Therefore, your resume should never exceed one page.
